Medient Studios News publishes independently. The following rules are publicly known and applied across the newsroom.
Fact-checking
Claims are verified against at least two independent sources before publication. Anonymous material is not used without editor sign-off.
Corrections policy
Factual errors are corrected promptly. A correction note appears at the bottom of the affected article, stating what changed and when.
Journalistic standards
Reporting follows the Society of Professional Journalists Code of Ethics: seek truth, minimize harm, act independently, and be accountable.
Independence from the subject
Medient Studios is covered like any other company. Subjects do not receive pre-publication review, and commercial relationships do not influence coverage decisions.
Meaningful editorial judgment
Stories are selected on public interest and news value, not on advertiser or client preference. Positive or negative tone is determined by reporting, not by relationship.
Medient Studios News is operated by an independent editorial team. Coverage of Medient Studios as a company is held to the same standards as coverage of any other vendor, studio, or technique.
